At the end of the week dedicated to the meeting of young Salesians from around the world, 5,000 young people from 54 different countries, this morning at Colle Don Bosco, there was the celebration of the bicentennial of the birth of Don Bosco. In front of the Basilica packed with faithful followers, they totaled more than 7000, the Rector Major, Fr AF Artime, X successor of Don Bosco, has solemnly celebrated the Holy Eucharist, remembering the legacy that the saint of young people left in the whole Salesian Family. The function was attended by all members of the Salesian Family, the Archbishop of Turin, Bishop Nosiglia and various local authorities. After the Mass, those present were able to listen to the recitation of the Holy Father, in which Pope Francis greeted the young people of the Salesian Youth Movement gathered in the Holy places to celebrate Don Bosco, encouraging them to live in the everyday joy of the Gospel to generate hope in the world.
